APPLE vs SAMSUNG: APPLE awarded $1bn

Apple has been awarded more than $1bn in damages by the US court after its rival smartphone and tablet manufacturer Samsung was found to have copied critical features of its iPhone and iPad.

In California today, a jury enters a third day of deliberations in the smartphone and tablet copyright battle between Apple and Samsung. But today in South Korea, a court facing the some of the same questions issued its ruling.

The South Korea court issued a split decision. A court in South Korea ruled today that Apple infringed on two of Samsung's technology patents in a couple of its products. And Samsung violated one of Apple's patents in one of its products.

The court said that Samsung did not copy Apple's iPhone design.

Google is launching a new Google doodle everyday. The latest Google Doodle is London Olympic Pool vault. This is the ninth (9th) Google Doodle of this London Olympic 2012.

This Doodle is showing a long haired girl is jumping (or vaulting) safely over the target set of metal bar using a long pole. The crowd can be seen bellow & the word Google is written on the top of the London Olympic 2012 stadium gallery. Also the sky is clean enough including some pieced of clouds.

Adding meta tags to individual blogger post

Good news folks, now you can finally add meta description to individual posts and pages on Blogger! This new feature is only one of several new features added by Blogger aiming at improving its SEO (Search Engine Optimization).
Meta description is a big deal because it describes the content of your blog or post. It will appear as snippet in search result and as description when you share the post on Google+, Facebook and other social networks. A good description increases the post’s chances of getting clicked.
